Advisory
Our advisory work supports the ventures Alex Curson is personally involved with. Each engagement is defined around a practical commercial need and the role Curson Holdings will play in addressing it.
Commercial strategy
We help clarify what a venture is seeking to achieve, who it serves and how it intends to operate. This can include reviewing the business proposition, identifying commercial priorities and shaping a realistic sequence for development.
Project development
We help turn an initial concept or relationship into a more defined project. Work may include assembling a project brief, identifying the people and resources required, coordinating early discussions and setting out the next steps for the principals involved.
Partnership development
We identify potential relationships between project owners, operators, commercial partners and specialist providers. The focus is on understanding what each participant can contribute and establishing the basis for useful collaboration.
Business development
We support the commercial growth of selected ventures through relevant introductions, market conversations and the development of new business relationships. Priorities are shaped by the venture’s product, market and capacity to deliver.
Brand and project communication
We help articulate a project’s proposition so prospective partners can understand its purpose, commercial model and requirements. This can include coordinating presentations, project narratives and visual materials with appropriate creative partners.
Project coordination
We help keep agreed work moving between founders, project owners, operators and other participants. This includes maintaining communication, following up on actions and helping resolve gaps between the project’s commercial objectives and the work underway.
Engagement scope
An engagement may cover a defined project, an ongoing advisory relationship or a particular stage of development. The scope, deliverables, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed for that engagement.
Equity participation, where relevant, is addressed separately through Alex’s ownership vehicle.
